Westborough Country Club is a private club in Webster Groves, MO.
The club’s facilities include an 18-hole golf course that is open to the public. The course also hosts junior and senior tournaments. Additional amenities at Westborough Country Club include indoor tennis courts, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, clay tennis courts, racquetball courts, bocce ball courts, croquet courts, pickleball courts, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pit area with two pits, men’s and women’s locker rooms with saunas, steam room, whirlpools, and showers. Guest are permitted on most of the outdoor facilities except for the golf course when it is being used by members or guests. There is a fee to enter the country club. The fee is $15 on weekdays and $20 on weekends.
Westborough Country Club was established in 1916 when ten men organized the Webster Groves Country Club to “build a golf course for themselves.”
The main building which houses the indoor facilities, including tennis courts, at Westborough was completed in 1924.
In 1943, Westborough hosted their first Women’s state tournament. Along with the Missouri Valley State Open Women’s Tournament that began in 1991, Westborough has hosted Missouri i women’s amateur golfers for 70 years.
